Anupam Garden RWA has notably undertaking many initiatives such as:
· Fixing the grid references, and charting the layout for some kind of envisaged planned development, on barren ground ,was a laborious and painstaking process as this had to coincide with the ‘sijra’ and documents of the revenue records.
· Cutting and paving of internal roads on virgin land was another contentious issue.....The cooperation of all members was the moot point for the connectivity to the main roads had to be set as access points.
· The basics of the security were put in place, though the financial constraints were a limitation. Security barriers...and control of HVT and MVT. Nocturnal policing, etc.
· Liaison with MCD to set systems for garbage disposal from points specified.
· Post and Telegraph for postal deliveries to the new settlers.
· A long journey of over a decade from DVB to BSES....... from temporary connections to permanent connection for electrification of Anupam Gardens. It was a bitter struggle to the end filled with meetings...summons....litigations....and more...
· Setting up a community Generator system by our own technocrat members. This delivered 24x7 power to the members.
· Anupam Gardens were the first to get installation of street lights in the area.
· We have already been declared eligible for issuance of provisional certificates, which is a prerequisite for ‘Authorisation/regularisation of Anupam Gardens.
· The RWA is currently concentrating on getting access to the piped water supply from Sonia Vihar Project
