About Us

Anupam Garden is around 80 acres of sylvan residentiality, which is the address of .xxx homeowners. The verdant estate lies nestled in the right angle formed by the junction of two arterial roads, yet it is conveniently set back to keep away from the fumes of the roaring traffic, for it is buffered by 100 acres of City Forest.  ‘The City Forest’ is a nature reserve that has been established as a green belt and indigenous ecosystem of fauna and flora that exists within this area. The entire northeast linear span of Anupam Garden abuts the boundary of the ‘The City Forest’.

The RWA as an entity was first conceived in the early nineties when about XX residents got together to set up a residents working system and subsequently it was under the aegis of Col MS Gill as the Founder President that the Anupam Garden RWA was formulated and was registered as a Society under the Society Registration Act on 30th December 1994. The number of resident members was very small at that time; infrastructure was nonexistent and still on the drawing board.... and plans yet to be developed. There was no security system that could be put in place either..... And to be real it could not be with such miniscule member base and the ensuing financial constraints.
Today we must thank the founding office bearers of the fledgling Anupam Garden RWA for the road map they lay down and appreciate the efforts as their work must be an uphill and onerous task.
The Association has come a long way as the representative body of the residents to serve their common civic cause and needs. Today, the membership is XXX from just XX in 1994. The annual budget of RWA, covering mostly the security and environmental needs, is about RsXX. Lacs.
There is no doubt that the Anupam Garden RWA,  is by and large cited as a model RWA, and is an effective and assertive body looking after the security, general civic needs etc.  It has nurtured active liaison with civil authorities  sharing a partnership in developing, maintaining and improving the infrastructure like roads, street light, parks and the greenery all around.
Undoubtedly the present strength of the RWA is because the Presidents, the Secretaries and committee members worked in sync over the years to improve the overall environment both on ground and social. Presidents of the RWA have been men of eminence, senior in age and experience, with a strong background of administration. Its Hony Secretaries, have been dedicated and energetic persons who devoted their time and energy in an honorary capacity and finally the committee members and the residents who made a valuable contribution in mobilizing financial resources and helping in carrying out its expanding activities.
We hope that the tradition which the founding fathers and thereafter, the guardians with their maturity, sincerity, age and experience have established will continue in years to come.
